Choices... Are They The Deciding Factors?

Choices....are  they the deciding factor in our lives???.Being an Atheist, I don't actually believe in the interference of god in our everyday matters. But according to me...something has to interfere into our lives to make the compications that we usually face in our everyday lives and I believe that the choices that we make in our everyday lives is the reason behind these unpredicted changes in our day
For example, change is the thing that makes you get caught in traffic when you chose to sleep for 5 more minutes in the morning...choice is also the thing that makes you get caught by your teacher when you chose to leave a book in your house thinking that it was way heavy and would not be required that day..choice is also the thing that makes you get caught in a boring outing when you pretty well know it would be boring but anyways chose to go because of some reason...If you ask me if choice gives us only bad results...the true answer would be no..some choices take you a long way in your life like you accepting a job offer from microsoft or any other big company for that matter....our whole life is filled with choices ,some are short term ,while others haunt us for the rest of  our lives..choices being regretted is more than it being thought of as the luckiest moment of our lives...more than our karma our choices seem to haunt us ..wherever we go we are faced with atleast one of the choices we made in our lives whether good or bad.
I am not sure whether me choosing to write this article is itself going to haunt me in the future =D.But anyways guys just keep in your mind about the haunting nature of your choices before choosing adverse things...Once you have made a choice there is no use looking back...all you have to do is keep going in that path that you chose and not think about "the road not taken"....your choices might be difficult to tread on but ultimately might lead you towards the same destination that your so called "unchosen path" shows...Just remember to not let anyone else affect the choices you make...and do remember that "Winners never quit and Quitters never win"

legend of chamber of secrets

The Chamber of Secrets is a legendary secret room constructed by Salazar Slytherin to house a monster which would finish his "noble work." This noble work would be accomplished when his true heir would open the Chamber and release the monster which lived within to rid the school of non-pureblood students.
According to the legend, Slytherin and Gryffindor argued over whether to allow Muggle-born students into Hogwarts. When Gryffindor apparently won, Slytherin left the school, but not before building the Chamber. Over the centuries, many great witches and wizards have searched for the Chamber but none found it. Eventually, the whole thing was assumed to be purely fiction (CS9).
It was not, however. The reason no one could find the Chamber is that it required someone to speak inParseltongue to open its entrance (CS16, DH31), and this was a power which only a very few have ever had. Slytherin spoke Parseltongue and a thousand years later, his heir, Tom Riddle, also had that ability. Riddle spent several years discovering how to open the Chamber and when he did, he unleashed the monster on the school. The monster was a basilisk, which Tom could control since it is a great serpent and spoke Parseltongue as well. There were a number of attacks on Muggle-born students, ending in the death of Myrtle in a second-floor bathroom.
Tom's plan backfired on him, however. When the girl died, the headmaster, Armando Dippet, decided to close the school. Riddle came from a Muggle orphanage and he would have had to live there if Hogwarts closed. So Riddle framed Hagrid for the crime of opening the Chamber. Hagrid was expelled and the school remained open (CS17).
The Chamber of Secrets is well hidden. The entrance is behind a sink in a bathroom on the second floor. There is a tiny snake figure scratched into the tap and when someone orders "open up" in Parseltongue, the sink recedes and a pipe appears. Sliding down this pipe takes one to an underground passage, probably located under the lake. There are bones of small animals here and Harry and Ron discover the shed skin of the basilisk nearby when they venture down (CS16).
The Chamber itself is a huge temple-like room with pillars and carved serpents. There is a massive statue of Salazar Slytherin at the far end from which the basilisk comes when summoned. Harry battled and defeated the basilisk here on May 29, 1993, with the help of Fawkes the phoenix and the old school Sorting Hat.
During the Battle of Hogwarts, Ron managed to approximate the sound of the Parseltongue word for "open" and he and Hermione entered the Chamber to recover basilisk fangs to be used to destroy Horcruxes (DH31).

A DAY OF MY LIFE. . .

“It’s already 7.00. Your van is going to come in fifteen minutes….I warn you if you miss your van. I am not going to drop u”. These are the first words I hear almost everyday. A day at home is much worse than a day in school, therefore u can imagine the consequences, I get up with a jerk only to find my stupid watch blaring 6:15 AM at me ( 5 minutes late than my usual wake up time?! BIG deal !) I push my quilt off, glare at my mom for the scare she gave me and start getting ready for school.
After I manage to fix myself and gobble some breakfast. I make my way to the place where I need to board my van. Having a Gala time with my vanmates….listening to songs( and ya! Clutching for my dear life …my van driver’s driving is very rash, especially when it get’s late) and boosting myself for a long day ..i come to school . School starts at 8. I reach at 7.50 AM.. I practically fly over 2 flights of stairs to make it to my class within 10 minutes ( with a huge bag and a even bigger lunch bag). Then would be our roll calls …that’s when your multitasking ability is put to test , you know, asking for the amount of homework you had to submit that day. Analysing how much you are done with and at the same time being alert for telling your roll numbers when your turn comes.
Then completing the undone works ,submitting Records, Classworks, Textbooks, Assignments, Test papers, Projects…( the list goes on and remember you have to submit all this in one day and at the correct time….If not you should learn to be happy with a A2) then in classes learning trigonometry, history, Shakespeare, Kambar ( a tamil poet)and many more things makes your head “fizz” by the time school ends. If it weren’t for my awesome teachers and in my case awesome friends …I don’t think a person would make it through even for 1 day of my life…but ya! I love it just like  a  movie star says in a movie “Even though it is a risk, life jolly boss !!!”

Why this kolaveri d?

To all those people who typed in your criticism about kolaveri making the Hindu front page ....this article is particularly for you ...let me start from the beginning ...what is a good song according to you guys? the one that enriches your language, culture or maybe your moral values ?? well making a song is really easy i can tell u that , all you need is a rhyming lyrics and a tune ....not so difficult to find ,but making a good song , now that is really different ....for this ,one would need fantastic lyrics, tunes , singers and many more things ....and not juz some lyric ,tune or singers ...everything should be perfect in it's own way
that is very difficult to acquire and even if u get it ... u would need many more things...well u would need something called the MASS ( the indian population) to recognise your song ....that happens only some really lucky people ... like for one person in a billion , if u don't understand what i am talking about watch this reality show called valarum iyakunar that comes on kalaingar TV ( this is a show that is said to recognise young directors, who have talent ,but hav not yet suceeded to get the attention of the mass) even though the show is a total waste ,it shows the real face of India
India has billions of people living in it ....If most of the people in this country like this song , then what on earth is the problem with u critics . Being a critic does not mean you need to be critical about everything . A good critic is a person who identifies the real fault ....i also want to know why  is it that always people in the mid forties who become critics? why are you people so stubbornly not moving on with the changing culture? are you scared that u would not be able to keep up?
Kolaveri is not just some good song it has become a phenomenon ....everything is good about this song right from funny lyrics ,amazing tunes to nice singing ..maybe that is what makes kolaveri more than just a song !
So , critics , please find real fault and do not compare songs of this century to the previous one, trust me, that will make it even worse
I end my article by wishing Dhanush more sucess and properity in life ...we expect more songs like this from you ...:)
