“It’s already 7.00. Your van is going to come in fifteen
minutes….I warn you if you miss your van. I am not going to drop u”. These are
the first words I hear almost everyday. A day at home is much worse than a day
in school, therefore u can imagine the consequences, I get up with a jerk only
to find my stupid watch blaring 6:15 AM at me ( 5 minutes late than my usual wake
up time?! BIG deal !) I push my quilt off, glare at my mom for the scare she
gave me and start getting ready for school.
After I manage to fix myself and gobble some breakfast. I make
my way to the place where I need to board my van. Having a Gala time with my
vanmates….listening to songs( and ya! Clutching for my dear life …my van driver’s
driving is very rash, especially when it get’s late) and boosting myself for a
long day ..i come to school . School starts at 8. I reach at 7.50 AM.. I
practically fly over 2 flights of stairs to make it to my class within 10
minutes ( with a huge bag and a even bigger lunch bag). Then would be our roll
calls …that’s when your multitasking ability is put to test , you know, asking
for the amount of homework you had to submit that day. Analysing how much you
are done with and at the same time being alert for telling your roll numbers
when your turn comes.
Then completing
the undone works ,submitting Records, Classworks, Textbooks, Assignments, Test
papers, Projects…( the list goes on and remember you have to submit all this in
one day and at the correct time….If not you should learn to be happy with a A2)
then in classes learning trigonometry, history, Shakespeare, Kambar ( a tamil
poet)and many more things makes your head “fizz” by the time school ends. If
it weren’t for my awesome teachers and in my case awesome friends …I don’t
think a person would make it through even for 1 day of my life…but ya! I love
it just like a movie star says in a movie “Even though it is
a risk, life jolly boss !!!”
